Product Description and Application

• A LED bicycle front light, specially designed for city, urban and classic bikes

• With a high power LED for a bright light distribution
• More than 20 LUX illumination in beam center (in 10 m distance)
• Classic parabolic shape
• ON-OFF switch integrated on top
• For installation on a handlebar stem bracket, front fork or the front luggage carrier of the bike
• Available in Chrome and black (with a Chrome front ring)

Housing

• Housing made of impact resistant ABS
• Chrome plated front ring around the lens (ABS)
• Lens part made of a transparent PMMA
• Splash and rain water proof

Bracket

• Stainless steel bracket for easy and durable installation at the fork with a M 6 screw.
• Marwi recommends using a stainless steel screw as well.
• The front light also can be mounted on a handlebar tube/stem with a chrome plated or ED-black special classic light bracket (to fit the 8 mm wide bracket adapter, attached to the lamp housing)

O-ring and bayonet locking principle

• An O-ring between back and front housing in combination with a bayonet locking system connecting the front housing with the back housing prevents splash and/or rain water is coming in.
• Additionally, the front ring is secured with a stainless steel coin screw at the bottom.

Switch

• Easy operating ON-OFF push button on top, made of TPE (Thermo-Plastic-Elastomer)

Batteries

• 4 x AAA-size alkaline batteries are included and pre-assembled
• A "pull-away" insulation plastic strip to prevent unintentional battery power reduction

Low battery indicator

• A low battery indicator positioned in the push button on top of the housing appears red when activated

Lighting duration

• 16-20 hours (depends on way of using, battery conditions and outside air temperature)

• 72 x 90 mm (diameter x depth, for housing w/o bracket)

Standards

• This complete light is approved according German "StVZO"(K 1122)
• The retro-reflector meets "StVZO" and is approved according ECE-R3 (IA-E1-02 4005)

Installation & Maintenance:

• We recommend you to use stainless steel screw and lock-nut (M6) for installation on your bicycle
• Check the proper function of your bicycle light before every ride
• Don't forget to switch off your light after use
• For your own safety check the brightness of the front light before every ride and change the batteries on time before the light dims

• This front light is also available in a hub-dynamo version. For a version only with switch for hub dynamo use; check UNION-4925 (20 LUX) or UNION-4935 (40 LUX) and for a version with sensor controlled automatic on-off switching and with stand-light function; check UNION-4928 (20 LUX) or UNION-4938 (40 LUX).
