Product Description and Application

• A LED bicycle front light, specially designed for city, trekking and hybrid bikes.

Housing

• Housing and front ring are made of impact resistant ABS
• Lens part made of a transparent PMMA

Stainless steel bracket

• Stainless steel bracket for easy and durable installation at the fork crown or booster on regular and suspension forks with a M6 screw. Marwi recommends you to use stainless steel fasteners as well.

O-ring and bayonet locking principle

• A bayonet locking system connects the front housing with the back housing and an O-ring between back and front housing prevents against splash and/or rain water coming in. Additionally, the front ring is secured with a stainless steel coin screw at the bottom.

Switch

• Easy operating ON-AUTO-OFF push button on top made of transparent TPE (Thermo-Plastic-Elastomer). By pushing the button 1 x the light switches "ON", pushing the button again the light changes into "AUTO" mode (a green LED inside starts to flash for 5 minutes) and by pushing the button once again the light turns "OFF".

Auto "ON" function

• The front light will switch (while in auto mode) on automatically when the light sensor is activated (when it is dark) and the bike is moving!

Auto "SHUT-OFF" function

• The front light switches off automatically after 4 1/2 minutes full stop in "AUTO" mode.
• Light output dims first after 2 minutes from 100 to 50 percent.

Batteries

• 4 x AAA-size alkaline batteries are included and pre-assembled
• A "pull-away" insulation plastic strip to prevent unintentional battery power reduction

Low battery indicator

• A low battery indicator positioned under the push button on top of the housing appears red while activated. Change the batteries as soon as possible when the low battery indicator appears!

Lighting duration

• 16-20 hours (depends on way of using, battery conditions and outside air temperature)

Standards

• This complete light is approved according German "StVZO" (K 1196)
• The retro-reflector meets "StVZO" and is approved according ECE-R3 (IA-E1-024188)

Installation & Maintenance:

• We recommend you to use stainless steel screw and lock-nut (M6) for installation on your bicycle
• Check the proper function of your bicycle light before every ride
• Don’t forget to switch off your light after use
• For your own safety check the brightness of the front light before every ride and change the batteries as soon as possible after the low battery indicator is activated
