• A LED bicycle tail light specially designed for city, trekking and hybrid bikes. This battery light is designed for rear carrier application.

• With 3x LED red and a "light bar" for optimal visibility and a bright light distribution even to the sides

Housing

• Rear part made of impact resistant ABS
• Front part made of a "smoky-transparent" PMMA, with an integrated, extra-large red retro reflector

Bolt distance

• The bolt distance can be adjust, via an integrated slide system, from 80mm to 50mm

Clamp locking system and seal ring

• A solid clamp locking system connects the front housing with the back housing and makes the tail light easy to open and close in case of a battery change. A rubber seal ring between back and front housing prevents against splash and/or rain water coming in.

Stainless steel fasteners

• 2 x bolts M5 x 12mm
• 2 x washers
• 2 x lock nuts M5

Switch

• Easy operating ON-OFF push button at the side, made of transparent TPE (Thermo-Plastic-Elastomer)

Batteries

• 2 x AA-size rechargeable or alkaline batteries are included and assembled
• A "pull-away" insulation plastic strip prevents against unintentional battery power reduction

Values light performance

• The values of the light performance of this tail light is 7.0 lumen

Low battery indicator

• A low battery indicator positioned, looking towards the rear light from the backside of the bike, at the right side in the tail light appears yellow while active. Change the batteries as soon as possible when the low battery indicator appears!

Lighting duration

• Maximum 60 hours (depends on way of using, battery conditions and outside air temperature)

Retro Reflectors

• A large retro-reflector is integrated in the light housing

Standards

• Meet the CE standard
• This complete light is approved according German “StVZO” (K 1237)
• The retro-reflector (“Z”) meets German “StVZO” and is approved according ECE-R3 (IA-E1-024302)

IMPORTANT

• When the tail light is used in combination with 2 x rechargeable batteries (NiMH type with 1.2Volt and at least 800mAh, each) it meets the German StVZO approval for all bikes. In case the tail light is used in combination with 2 x alkaline batteries (1.5 Volt, each) it only can be used according the German StVZO, on a racing bike with a total weight of max.11kg or as an additionally (second) tail light at every bicycle type.

Installation & Maintenance:

• Check the proper function of your bicycle light before every ride
• Don’t forget to switch off you tail light after ride
• For your own safety check the brightness of the taillight before every ride and change the alkaline batteries or recharge the rechargeable batteries on time before the light dims
